There are those in the healthcare community who may feel uneasy by the prospect of artificial intelligence (AI) being used in their respective fields. In our experience, however, technology can be used to assist in healthcare to make jobs more efficient for your staff and give providers more time with patients. That’s the focus behind an upcoming session co-presented by TriageLogic’s CTO, Dr. Ravi Raheja, and David Lawson, the CEO of Call Simulator. This session will be a part of HCCT’s 32nd Annual Conference held from June 7th – 9th this week in Atlanta, and will showcase experiences from both companies in regards to AI development. It will also include improvements we’ve seen in call center technology, nurse triage, and medical message intake.
The modules that we’ve developed can be used to train and guide medical staff so that patient needs are addressed efficiently and accurately. They can ensure that triage nurses correctly label the urgency of each patient request, that nurses know how to respond to any type of patient phone call, and that patients are given the appropriate advice on what types of care they should seek based on all of their symptoms.

TriageLogic’s Solutions
Dr. Raheja will be discussing two primary solutions that can be applied to your nurse triage services.
MedMessage Assist
This is a tool for nonclinical operators that identifies when reported symptoms are urgent, or prompts operators to ask additional questions when it identifies that those symptoms could be. As a self-teaching module, it’s been able to reduce intake errors to less than one (1) percent, and can either be used as a standalone solution or integrated with your in-house software. Simulated Nurse Triage Training
New triage nurses need phone practice that will adequately prepare them for the variety of calls they’re bound to encounter — not simply in terms of the specific needs that patients will have, but also how those calls are affected by each patient’s mood, voice, and background noise. Our training simulator offers this kind of customization without the added stress that nurses may feel when performing with live trainers. Click here for the full story.
