TriageLogic is excited to announce its ranking on the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list this year! Considering how much of a trying time it’s been for business globally — and for healthcare in particular — this recognition is all the more gratifying. It truly would not have been possible without the continued efforts of our entire team.
By the Numbers
TriageLogic ranked:
#340 in the state of Florida.
#342 for healthcare in the US.
#27 for the local Jacksonville area!
Why We’re Growing
TriageLogic continues to grow because its specific phone- and telehealth-based services alleviate the burdens that many healthcare offices are facing, especially increased caller concerns regarding COVID. We are also able to customize doctor’s orders and other features of our medical call center software to better fit the needs of each individual client.
Nurse Triage on Call. We offer a medical call center of registered nurses who act as the first line of assistance to guide patients to the appropriate levels of care. This center is available 24/7, making it an ideal option for those practices that don’t have daytime or after-hours support for patients with healthcare symptoms or medical questions. Our team uses the gold standard of triage protocols developed by Drs. Schmitt and Thompson to address caller symptoms and determine whether they should seek care from their physician, the ER, or at home. Doctors have the option to customize the medical order once a disposition has been determined. All calls are documented and shared with patients’ respective healthcare providers. This means more calls are answered, unnecessary ER visits are avoided, lives are saved, and healthcare costs are reduced.
Remote Patient Monitoring. Chronic care management has been particularly disrupted this past year, both due to the pandemic and the changing rewards system for value-based care. One way to keep these at-risk patients safe from COVID exposure, and reduce unnecessary visits from nursing staff, is to monitor patient vitals from their homes using RPM devices. Our in-house team can then review that collected data in order to watch for any early warning signs of potential health complications, then notify the respective patient and their physician. This saves emergency room visits, improves patient care, and increases the sources of income for providers at the same time.
Telehealth Scheduling. If patient symptoms warrant a physician’s diagnosis, but not necessarily one given in person, our triage nurses now have protocols that help them determine a caller’s telehealth eligibility. They can also schedule an appointment on the physician’s behalf.
Nurse Triage Software. For those practices that need a better means of providing telephone nurse triage to their patients, we offer easy-to-use online software. MyTriageChecklist documents all patient calls in order to ensure a continuity of care, and guides nursing staff with the most current triage protocols. These protocols are updated regularly as new healthcare information becomes available, and the software itself can be up and running in 30 minutes.
What’s Next
There’s no question that the future of healthcare will continue to rely on digital solutions, and that telehealth and telephone nurse triage will have essential roles to play. We’re excited to have come this far in developing these services, and we look forward to the challenges still ahead.
For any hospital, health system, or medical office in need of these services, we are ready to learn more about how we can help your patients get the care they need for better health outcomes.
