As we usher in the new year, I am thrilled to share our organization’s significant advancements in telehealth triage, thanks to data-driven insights and innovative technology. Together, these efforts continue to improve the tools and services we provide to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.
TriageIntelligence: Revolutionizing Patient Care Management
In 2024, we proudly launched TriageIntelligence™, a comprehensive platform that integrates expert medical oversight with AI and machine learning technology. This robust solution empowers healthcare providers with real-time insights, automated decision-making, and proactive care interventions, ensuring every patient interaction is guided by industry-leading protocols and overseen by experienced professionals.
A key feature of TriageIntelligence is its enhanced 911 assessment capability, which assists telephone triage nurses in evaluating patient symptoms over the phone. This feature documents each step and aids in identifying potentially life-threatening situations, improving patient safety, standardizing care, and reducing the training time needed for new nurses.
Updated Nurse Triage Handbook: A Resource for Best Practices
Alongside our technological advancements, we remain committed to providing educational resources that support healthcare excellence. We’re excited to introduce the newly updated Nurse Triage Handbook, now available for download here. This handbook is a comprehensive guide designed to assist telephone triage nurses with best practices, communication strategies, and protocol-based decision-making.
By combining TriageIntelligence with our enhanced nurse triage resources, we continue to raise the bar for safe, efficient patient care. I invite you to explore both tools and join us as we work toward empowering healthcare teams nationwide.
