TriageLogicTM Online Learning Center Announces the New Telephone Triage Nurse Certification
August 25, 2015- JACKSONVILLE, FL- TriageLogic,LLC is pleased to announce the release of the newest addition of its Online Learning Center. This new innovations allows for managers to form teams and use our courses for nurse training. Managers can track material studied and exams to provide high quality training for their nurses. In addition, nurses can receive a Telephone Triage Nurse Certification upon completion of each course.
Streamlined Training and Accountability
In the past, the Online Learning Center was comprised of videos, blog articles, and short trainings that telephone triage nurses could leverage as they furthered their knowledge of nursing. Now, the TriageLogic team has added quizzes and printable notes with a certification quiz after each course. Courses are broken down into lessons and supplemental materials with a progress meter for easy tracking.
With this new capability, not only are nurses able to track their own progress, but managers are able to track the progress of their entire nursing team as well. “I am excited to use the Online Learning Center in our telephone nurse training, ” says Marci Lawing, RN-Nurse Manager at TriageLogic, “It will add great value to our current training process and for our clients’ nurses.”
How it works
First, to set up the virtual classroom for their specific nurse team, the manager fills out the contact form on the TriageLogic website and sends a list of team members to be added to the virtual class. Next, a username and password will be sent to each nurse and to the manager who can oversee the progress of the nurses in the team along with instructions on how to run progress reports. Nurses can then log in to TriageLogic’s Learning Center website and begin training right away.
For those nurses who may be experienced or would just like to brush up on specific skills, videos are available for viewing outside of courses as well. Any video topic can be accessed at your own convenience here.
TriageLogic is committed to learning and expanding the field of nurse triage. “We are excited to share our expertise with the telephone triage community and to continue improving patient care nationwide,” says Ravi Raheja, MD and Medical Director of TriageLogic.
