Charu G. Raheja, PhD, CEO
It is with great pleasure that I write my first letter as the new CEO of TriageLogic!
I am very excited about my new position, and am looking forward to some great years ahead, filled with advancing technologies, increased efficiencies, and new partnerships. I have enjoyed being a part of TriageLogic from the beginning and using my experience in finance to help create a company that benefits everyone involved. As an economist, I see the importance of looking for sustainable healthcare systems that provide win-win outcomes for patients, physicians, hospitals, and the overall industry. Nurse triage is a great solution for meeting these goals, not only in the United States, but worldwide.
As I move into my new role, TriageLogic is working on several new innovations to make it easier for patients to get qualified health information from nurses, while making things more efficient for physicians. With the continuing changes in telephonic technology, patients and doctors benefit from secure IT that offers convenient communication options. As such,TriageLogic will soon be announcing our new smart phone app that will allow patients to request a callback from nurses without having to speak to an answering service. All of our doctors using nurse triage will have access to this technology for their patients. Stay tuned as we develop additional opportunities that provide benefits to patients and physicians!
With quality and security at the top of our list of importance, we are proud to be in-process for URAC accreditation as a health call center. URAC is an independent, non-profit organization that promotes health care quality through its accreditation, education and measurement programs. The URAC standards development process is consensus driven, with over hundreds of industry experts serving as volunteers to establish and revise appropriate industry benchmarks.
“TriageLogic should be commended for its decision to be reviewed under URAC’s strict quality standards,” said URAC Chief Operating Officer William Vandervennet. “It is critically important for health care organizations to make a commitment to quality and accountability.”
At TriageLogic, we believe in taking the necessary steps to ensure our programs and services meet the high standards set by URAC and other accreditations. We look forward to providing an update on our status in the coming months. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me with any ideas, concerns, or suggestions on how we can provide you with the best tools and services to address your patient’s phone calls.
