Spotlight: Sandy Shiflett, Client Relations Manager
Sandy is originally from Richmond, Virginia. Her work in healthcare started way before she joined TriageLogic. While living in Virginia, she worked as an office manager for a chiropractor for 19 years. In fact, her job as an office manager helped her transition into her future job with our company. As Sandy puts it, “As an office manager, I got a lot of experience in customer service because I was always the first person they met when coming to the office. I feel that being an office manager for a doctor’s office has helped me appreciate what the managers at our practices do on a daily basis.”
After moving to Jacksonville to be closer to her daughter and granddaughters, Sandy took her current job with TriageLogic. She thought the job was a good fit because of the experience that she gained while working in Virginia. As such, she gets to use her customer service skills everyday while working for us.
Sandy truly enjoys working for TriageLogic. She likes the fact that her job allows her to help our dedicated nurses and make their lives a little easier, and she always looks forward to working with doctors’ offices because she can help them provide the best care possible for their patients. She also loves her work environment. For example, Sandy notes, “I really like working for TriageLogic because we have a good team, we work hard, and we are appreciated. I like that if I have a family situation or car problem I can work from home and not miss a day of work. The office environment also feels like family.”
As for her life outside of work, Sandy has many favorite pastimes. For one, she participates in various 5k and 10k runs here in Jacksonville (including the Gate River Run). She also loves going to the beach, spending time with her family, and reading.
